Office Space
>It’s been over a week since my last post, please forgive me. I’ve been super busy with work. YES! I said work. I ended up accepting the position after I was offered the job on the day of my second interview. 6 weeks without a job or paycheck hurt me bad… 
Great company and very friendly co-workers. It’s a younger crowd, but just as professional as any other job I’ve worked at. My predecessor is still working at the company (she got promoted from her old, my current position) and is great at training me. I like that I’ve got a go-to to go to (tee hee) if there’s anything I need help with. Managed to get the corner cubicle with a window view too, nice!
Yesterday I went to Red Robin for lunch with a group for a birthday boy turning 21. Found more about Lake Forest than I ever thought I would. I guess most of the employees live around the area — practically born and raise there. While waiting for the server to come to take our order, had a brief chit chat with a vendor relations specialist that said some chick she knew, knew some other chick that was supposedly raped in an alley somewhere near by, by some homeless guy or something. Definitely not what I envisioned Lake Forest to be like. I’m sure its still a nice place to work and live in.
Watching Office Space for the first time in its entirety. Ya, seriously. I got tired of everyone and their mom beening so super duper surprised I never saw it. Thank goodness for On Demand. It was an ok movie, probably something I would’ve enjoyed more if I saw it when it first came out.
